It’s time for our first historical trip!

What pops up in your mind when someone says Istanbul?

On September 9th, we will have a trip to the one and only Sultanahmet district, perhaps the most historical place in Istanbul, to see the famous square that had a major significance for every civilization located in the area and some of the most iconic historical buildings. While enjoying the old Istanbul we will not only see the Ottoman culture but also feel the old Byzantine spirit!

After you experience the fascinating religious and architectural effect of Hagia Sophia, take a look at the only mosque that was originally built with six minarets and be amazed by the gorgeous blue tiles of the Blue Mosque. Afterwards, we will also have a chance to visit the Valide Han hill, and we bet you will be very impressed by the view of Istanbul beneath your feet! 

We are going to meet at the gate of South Campus on September 9th at 10 AM.
