We are here with another amazing weekend trip so you can continue to explore Istanbul with us!

We'll start off from Miniatürk, a miniature park located close to the Golden Horn, where you can see the miniature models of all the beautiful landmarks in and around Turkey. It is one of the largest miniature parks in the world!

Then, we will go to the Pierre Loti Hill, famous for its spectacular view over the Golden Horn to wind down from our trip. It is named after the French novelist, naval officer and Turkophile and is in Eyüp, about 6 kilometers from the Galata Bridge in Eminönü.
You may wonder why there is a teahouse in Istanbul in dedicated to Pierre Loti. Well, the legend has it that during his stay in Istanbul in 1876, he gazed from this exact location over the Golden Horn in search of inspiration for his literary masterpiece Aziyadé!

If you’re interested, we will be meeting at 10 AM in front of the South Campus per usual!
