Halal Crawl

This time, we're having a chill day with a side of delicious traditional treats! Our classic event, the Halal Crawl is coming up. Be ready to get full of the traditional cuisine of Turkey!

We will start our event by drinking Gazoz, our very own local soda, of which you can find so many different varieties of flavour in the little shop we will visit!

Then we will continue with a drink called Boza, which is a thick fermented drink made from millet, usually served with cinnamon and roasted chickpeas on top. Although it can be enjoyed all year round, people especially consume it on cold winter days, since it can warm up your body. We think it is the perfect time to introduce you to it if you haven't tried already!

Finally, we will be eating Baklava! It’s one of the most popular and delicious deserts of the country, and it has originated from the Southeast region of Turkey.

At this event, you will also find a chance to stroll around in the old streets of Istanbul, smell the culture and history in them.
