The most radiant thing in the world is probably seeing a child’s smile. So unadulterated and so innocent… The next best thing? Knowing that you are the reason behind it.
As ESN Bogazici, for Social Inclusion Days, we are visiting a small village called Pirinççi in Istanbul to paint a rural school. By brightening the school up and leaving some cute illustrations on its walls, we would like to give our little ones a better environment to learn and play. This may be the only situation where the language barrier will not really matter because they will find a way to let you in their world somehow and who knows, perhaps they have something to teach us.
