This Saturday, we'll be going on a yet another historical trip: Beylerbeyi Palace!

There are many palaces in İstanbul, but very few are as decorated and decadent as the Beylerbeyi palace. Since it was used towards the end of the Ottoman Empire, many of the furniture is still intact and in their original places, and include pieces like old clocks and precious crystal chandeliers. Being the summer residence for the royalty back in the day, it even has an indoor pool to cool down the building and the guests!

After checking out the palace and it's beautiful garden by the sea, we'll be heading to Çengelköy for lunch and spend the afternoon chilling.

We'll meet at the south campus gate at 11 A.M. as usual!

P.S: The entrance fee for the palace is 5 liras for students, so having your student ID's with you is recommended.

Hoping to see you all there!
