Istanbul is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, but it can also be one of the most difficult to navigate as a foreigner. For this reason, I do not know what I would have done without ESN Bogazici. I made great friends in ESN, despite the language barrier and they gave me experiences that I would not have otherwise had. For example, going to the best brunch spots in Besiktas, eating dondurma on the coolest rooftop bar in Taksim, dining and dancing to traditional Turkish music on the Bosphorus, and walking the beautiful trail of Buyukada. The fun and beauty of Istanbul I experienced with ESN is enough to last a lifetime.
